Jota seems to have taken his game to another level this season, after joining Celtic on a permanent basis. He scored a wondergoal against Aberdeen and assisted all three goals against Ross County. He might very well have outdone his Flag Day effort though, with another stunning strike from way outside the box, this time against Kilmarnock.

It could have been a tricky tie, on the artificial pitch at Rugby Park but instead, it turned out to be quite a comfortable afternoon for the Bhoys, as they beat Kilmarnock by a 5-0 scoreline.

Jota is not the only Celtic player who seems to have taken his game to the next level this season though. Another one appears to be Greg Taylor. He looked very impressive in the second half of the previous campaign and has continued on that upward trajectory.

Jota even believes that Taylor does not get enough credit. As reported by Glasgow Live, the Portuguese star told Sky Sports:

"“First of all, I think I should speak about Greg because he’s been unbelievable this season. He’s a top player, he’s delivering in every game and his standards in every game are unbelievable.“I don’t think he gets enough credit.”"

It must be said that Taylor has done a wonderful job at left-back in recent months. He might not have been able to fill Kieran Tierney’s boots when he first arrived in the summer of 2019, but now, it finally looks like Celtic have a player who has made the position his own.

Taylor does not often get the credit that he deserves, largely due to the reputation that he had built in his first couple of seasons at Parkhead. Slowly but surely, fans are recognising though that he has been one of Celtic’s best players in recent times.

The club have signed Alexandro Bernabei this summer, from Lanus for a transfer fee believed to be around £3.75 million, but it is hard to see the Argentine getting into the team if Taylor continues on in this kind of form.
