Celtic have made quite a few additions this summer already. First of all, the Hoops managed to turn the loan deals of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Jota and Daizen Maeda permanent, following their impressive displays last season. On the other hand, they have also brought in new faces in the form of Benjamin Siegrist, Alexandro Bernabei, Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz. Thus, the fans should be very happy.

This is a team that had already won the Premiership and League Cup double, and could now potentially be even stronger. But at the same time, one has to wonder whether they have done enough to replace Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton. Only time shall tell.

While we might still be in the third week of July and have a large portion of the transfer window left, Celtic have already done the majority of their business if not all.

Celtic could still be on the lookout for another striker though, even if it was never a priority. Anthony Joseph tweeted out regarding the situation:

Celtic could still be looking to strengthen in one position

Celtic have a couple of incredible options up top right now in the form of Kyogo and Giorgos Giakoumakis, both of whom did a fantastic job when they were on the pitch last season.

The problem is, both of them had a lot of injury problems throughout the course of the campaign and had to spend significant time out on the sidelines. While Daizen Maeda can play through the middle as well, he has not looked at his best in that position.

On the other hand, Albian Ajeti has struggled ever since joining Celtic from West Ham United in the summer of 2020 and could very well be on his way out of the club this summer. It remains to be seen if that ends up happening or not. The Hoops could do with another striker though.
