Celtic have already pulled off a huge move this summer by signing Cameron Carter-Vickers on a permanent basis from Tottenham Hotspur, following his incredible loan spell, in a transfer deal that could rise up to £10 million with add-ons. If that was to happen, he would be the most expensive signing in the Hoops’ history. Further, they are also expected to complete a £6.4 million move for Jota in the near future as well.

Now, while the guaranteed Champions League spot has handed Celtic a massive cash boost, at the same time, they will have to be a bit more restrained after this, and it would be wrong to expect them to make any more big money moves.

As a result, it might be a good idea for them to keep an eye on free agents, who could potentially make an impact on the first-team at Celtic. One player that they have been linked with heavily in that respect is Benjamin Siegrist.

Anthony Joseph has confirmed that the club have been looking at Siegrist for a while. As reported by GIVEMESPORT, the reliable journalist said:

"“Siegrist is someone they’ve been looking at for quite a while, just in terms of their wish list of good goalkeepers.“And he’s out of contract, so that would be quite an easy one, and it would not surprise me if Siegrist was to join this summer. He probably wants to also be back in the setup for international football as well.”"

Celtic have been looking at free agent for quite a while according to reliable journalist

Siegrist has been one of the best goalkeepers in Scotland for quite a while now, having impressed during his spell at Dundee United.

He is set to be available as a free agent this summer though, with his current deal with the Scottish club coming to an end and if Celtic are able to sign him, it would be a solid move on their part.

Joe Hart was the club’s number one last season and has impressed both between the posts and as a leader of this team. But there is no real competition for him in this team right now, with Scott Bain comfortably behind him in the pecking order. Thus, the arrival of someone with the quality of Siegrist could benefit the team immensely.
