With their 1-1 draw against Dundee United away at Tannadice Park, Celtic completed the unlikeliest of doubles by adding the Premiership title to the Scottish League Cup that they had already won earlier on in the campaign. Thus, in his first season in charge of the club, Ange Postecoglou has guided them to two trophies while working against all the odds that one could have thought of.

The club had finished 25 points behind the Rangers last season, were trophyless and lost several key players in the summer. They had to undergo a major squad rebuild as a result and 17 players have arrived over the course of the past two transfer windows.

As a result, even the most optimistic of fans had written this season off as a transitional one but it has proven to be one that has brought silverware back to the club and restored a lot of positivity that had been missing for quite a few years even when trophies were coming in left, right and centre.

This summer is expected to be much calmer than the previous one. Yet, some players are expected to leave. One of them appears to be long-time star, Nir Bitton. As reported by Celts Are Here, his barber wished the Israeli player best of luck, saying he saved his best haircut till last.

Bitton’s barber appears to confirm Celtic exit

This, of course, refers to a picture that has been doing the rounds on social media today, which is believed to be the Instagram story from Bitton’s barber.

Rumours about his potential exit had broken out a few weeks earlier in the Israeli media but they had been mostly missed by the Scottish media.

Everything went into overdrive though when Bitton posted pictures of himself with his kids from inside an empty Celtic Park on his Instagram, suggesting that his journey at the club was coming to an end.

Bitton has been at Celtic since 2013 and although he has not been a regular starter for a while, he has always remained an important part of the squad. Thus, if he does indeed seal an exit, the club will need to sign someone who can fill in his role in the team.
