Celtic is one of the best supported clubs in the world and at times, it is easy to forget how big the global fan base of the Hoops is. And they do not have any lack of celebrity supporters either. It is only recently that Snoop Dogg has been in the news for planning a trip to Glasgow if the Bhoys are able to get the job done and lift the Premiership title. They have a 6-point lead with 5 games to go.

It looks like another famous face has now started supporting Celtic, in the form of popular MMA and WWE reporter, Ariel Helwani, who has been one of the biggest names in his field for well over a decade.

Helwani recently received a Celtic jersey from a friend of his and has declared himself to be a fan for life.

He tweeted out a picture as well:

Naturally, we had to give him a welcome to the fan base and Helwani called it a honour:

Helwani declares himself a Celtic fan for life after receiving jersey

Incidentally, that is how Snoop Dogg had begun supporting Celtic as well, after he had received a jersey back in 2005. Guess there is just something about the Hoops!

Hopefully, every Celtic fan around the world will get the chance to celebrate the club winning back the Premiership title from the Rangers this season, with the Hoops in a strong position to do so as things stand.

But no matter how this campaign ends, it has to be considered a very successful one, after how the 2020/21 season had turned out for the Hoops, finishing trophyless and 25 points behind their Glasgow rivals in the Premiership with 10IAR up for grabs.

Hopefully, Helwani will be bringing some good luck with him. Welcome to the greatest club in the world, Ariel.
