A lot of eyebrows were raised when Postecoglou decided to start the game with Rogic, instead of Matt O’Riley.

Many felt that it was a mistake as Rogic does not have the defensive work rate of O’Riley and that could end up handing a massive advantage to the Rangers in the middle of the park.

It was not long before Postecoglou was proven right for his decision though as it was Rogic, who brought Celtic back on level terms early on and went on to have a fantastic game.

Thus, it is safe to say that Postecoglou got this decision spot on and it played a huge part in getting the win away at Ibrox.

On the other hand, O’Riley would end up picking up an injury after coming on and we can only hope that it is nothing serious.

Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt immense

Defence had been a major weakness for Celtic last season, as they struggled to keep the ball out of the back of the net. It is safe to say that they have gone a long way in rectifying those issues this time around by signing Starfelt and bringing in Carter-Vickers on loan in  the summer.

Both have proven to be excellent additions to this side and solidified their defence. And they deserve huge credit for the win away at Ibrox as well.

While Carter-Vickers put his name in the headlights by scoring the winner, it goes without saying that Starfelt put in a brilliant performance at the back as well, especially in the second half when the Rangers were looking for an equaliser.

The Swedish international has had his fair share of critics during his time at Parkhead, but in this game, he proved a lot of people wrong.
