Things have been looking up for Celtic going into the Glasgow Derby against the Rangers at Ibrox. One could argue that this is the most important game of the season for both sides. A win for the Hoops would put them six points in front and could potentially spell the end of the title race. On the other hand, a defeat would bring the two teams level on points while a draw would suit Ange Postecoglou’s side more.
Celtic could have the edge going into the game, having dominated the Rangers in a 3-0 win at Parkhead, the last time that these two sides met. But, at the same time, their record at Ibrox, and in the Glasgow Derby in general, in recent years has not been good. They last won there back in 2019.
Thus, this could turn out to be a game of fine margins. Fortunately for Celtic, they have some big names back in the mix, including Kyogo Furuhashi, who had been out injured since December.
In fact, other than James Forrest, everybody else is expected to be available for Celtic, which is the strongest that this squad has been in a long time.
