Celtic will know that a win against Rangers away at Ibrox would be a huge result and could potentially even spell the end of the Premiership title race. As things stand, the Hoops are leading their Glasgow rivals by three points. As a result, they have the chance to increase that gap to six points. But at the same, their lead could end up getting wiped off by Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side. A draw would favour Ange Postecoglou’s side more than the hosts.

Thus, it is safe to say that the things are very, very tight in the Premiership and it is a game of fine margins at the moment.

When it comes to the injury front, things have been looking up for Celtic, with Kyogo available for the game against the Rangers, in what is a giant boost for the Hoops. Although, with the amount of time that he has been out for, do not expect him to start.

As tweeted out by Jo Hendry, the only Celtic player unavailable for the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox is James Forrest:

Celtic set to miss Forrest in game against Rangers at Ibrox

Forrest has struggled for both form and fitness for a long time now. Thus, he most probably would not have been in the starting XI even if he was available.

He has a lot of experience of these big games though and there is always something that a player like him can bring to the table, even if it means being on the bench. Thus, Forrest being out of action is a blow for Celtic without any doubt, but it would have been a much bigger one a few years back.

On the other hand, the Rangers have their injury problems too, as Alfredo Morelos has been ruled out of the game against Celtic.
