Ange Postecoglou has become a fan favourite at Celtic ever since arriving at Parkhead earlier in the summer. It is safe to say that the magnitude of the task that the manager faced was immense. The Hoops had finished 25 points behind the Rangers in the Premiership last season and had finished the campaign without a single piece of silverware. On top of that, the squad underwent a major transformation as well.

Twelve new players arrived at Celtic in the summer. And several key stars like Odsonne Edouard, Ryan Christie and Kristoffer Ajer headed for the exit door.

Thus, it goes without saying that it was not a great time for Postecoglou to come in. But, it is safe to say that he has done a tremendous job at Celtic, already guiding them to the Scottish League Cup title and has the Hoops competing for the Premiership as well.

On the other hand, Neil Lennon found it difficult to get back into management after the disappointing 2020/21 season that he had with Celtic. But now, he is finally back in the hot seat, having joined Cypriot First Division side AC Omonia Nicosia.

Postecoglou has sent message to the former Celtic manager

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Lennon has received a good luck message from Postecoglou following his move to AC Omonia Nicosia.

Lennon enjoyed tremendous success at Celtic, both as a player and as a manager, and there is no doubt about the fact that he is a club legend.

Unfortunately though, his time with Celtic will perhaps always be remembered for the failed quest to win 10IAR in 2020/21. That is sad, but that was the magnitude of the previous campaign. We can only wish him the best of luck in Cyprus though and hope that he enjoys a lot of success there.
