Celtic should be happy with where they sit right now, 3 points ahead of the Rangers with 9 league games left to be played. In fact, it is better than anybody could have expected coming out of the winter break, when Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side had a 6-point lead and the Hoops were the ones with a mountain to climb. But it is safe to say that things can change very quickly, and they already have once this season.

Thus, Celtic fans will be very worried going into the game away at Livingston. Of course, we all know how those trips have gone for the Hoops in the past.

This season, they lost there 1-0 and drew 0-0 at Parkhead in the reverse fixture. So, it is clear that Livingston are a team that Celtic struggle against.

On top of that, they are a side in terrific form, sitting at fourth in the Premiership table. But that does not mean that Celtic cannot get a win at the weekend.

The biggest boost that Celtic will be handed at Livingston is the fact that Giakoumakis is expected to be available once again.

That is an incredible boost for the club to say the least. The Greek striker has been excellent in recent times and proven that he can be key to Celtic’s success this season.

A target man as well as someone who knows his way to the back of the net, as evident from him topping the Eredivisie scoring charts last season, Giakoumakis is the type of player that Celtic might need if they are to get a win away at Livingston. Let’s see if he ends up starting.
