Bodo/Glimt manager makes interesting Celtic admission

Celtic will have their work cut out for them when they travel to Norway, to take on Bodo/Glimt, in the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League tie, under difficult circumstances and conditions. The Norwegian champions currently hold a 3-1 lead from the first leg at Parkhead. And thus, it goes without saying that Ange Postecoglou’s side are facing one of the toughest tests of their season till now.

Of course, while Celtic might be heavy underdogs going into the game, that does not mean that the tie is over. Things could have been very different if they had taken their chances in the first leg.

It is not like Celtic were completely outplayed on that occasion. It just was not their day and on top of that, it must be said that Postecoglou appeared to make a few selection errors as well. Thus, if they are able to make the right adjustments for the second leg, the Hoops might have a potential chance to turn the tie around.

As reported by TV2, Bodo/Glimt manager, Kjetil Knutsen, said about the first leg:

"“The important thing against this team is to defend themselves smartly. They want us to open rooms, and I felt in the previous match that we defended well, but that we gave away too much room towards the end.”"

Can Celtic get a win against Bodo/Glimt away in Norway?

It remains to be seen if Celtic are able to get a win away in Norway against Bodo/Glimt. A lot of fans might have underestimated how good the Norwegian champions are before the first game, but there is no doubt about it now. They are a superb side, who play good attacking football and deserve a lot of respect.

Celtic have shown a lot of quality this season as well and even though the first leg might not have gone their way, it would be a mistake to count them out of the tie completely. There are still 90 minutes to be played at a minimum and anything can end up happening.

A Celtic comeback is unlikely but it is definitely something that is not out of the realms of possibility.
