Celtic are a side high on confidence right now. They have found a consistency under the management of Ange Postecoglou that they had not showcased in a long time and as a result, the club are back at the top of the Premiership table, a point ahead of the Rangers. They will face one of the toughest tests of their season till now though, when they welcome Norwegian champions, Bodo/Glimt, to Parkhead.

Celtic were drawn against Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Europa Conference League and it was one of the toughest ties that they could have been handed.

Bodo/Glimt are a team who deserve a lot of respect for sure. Not only are they the Norwegian champions but they have also impressed in Europe as well. Their 6-1 win over AS Roma and then 2-2 draw against Jose Mourinho’s side away in Italy in the reverse fixture, show how good they can be on their day.

Thus, it is no surprise that Postecoglou has been impressed with the club. As reported by Sky Sports, the Celtic manager said:

"“They have a really exciting group of players who have bought into this style of football, which is great to see.“Often in all leagues around the world, even here in Scotland, sometimes we talk about teams with lower budgets playing a certain way but you don’t have to, you know? You don’t have to.“You get the right manager in, you get them to believe in something and work in a certain way and you can play that kind of football.“Obviously coming from Australia, it is something I believe in strongly.“Yes, impressed with their results but more impressed with the manner they play their football.”"

Postecoglou himself is known for his philosophy of football and he has brought that to Celtic. And Bodo/Glimt are known for being an attacking team as well. Thus, this could be a very interesting stylistic match up between two of the most exciting teams remaining in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

It goes without saying that Celtic would be hoping to come out on top although Bodo/Glimt cannot be taken lightly at all, with the away leg in Norway expected to be especially difficult.

Celtic have pulled off some impressive results in Europe themselves this season, defeating Real Betis and AZ Alkmaar, and were minutes away from getting a win away in Germany against Bayer Leverkusen.
