Availability issues have been a problem for Celtic for quite some time now. In fact, one could argue that it has been their biggest worry this season and when Ange Postecoglou has had the majority of his squad available, they have done tremendously well. With the five additions in the January transfer window, it is safe to say that Hoops’ options have increased quite a bit. But that does not mean that they do not still have their fair share of problems.

Key players like Kyogo, David Turnbull and others have been missing due to injury for a while. The name of Mikey Johnston might have been added to that list as well as he was forced off the pitch against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup recently.

On the other hand, Josip Juranovic has been missing due to illness for the past couple of games. But in his case, there appears to be some good news.

Recent comments from Postecoglou had suggested that Juranovic would be available to feature in midweek against Bodo/Glimt and now, the player has posted a picture of himself training on his Instagram story.

Celtic star looks set to return vs Bodo/Glimt

It is safe to say that if Juranovic was back on the pitch vs Bodo/Glimt, it would be a massive boost for Celtic and their chances of winning against the Norwegian champions.

Juranovic has been solid recently and was incredible in the club’s recent 3-0 win over the Rangers. Since then though, he is yet to start a game.

It remains to be seen if that will change this midweek in the Europa Conference League game. But even having him on the bench would be a boost for the Hoops. On the other hand, Anthony Ralston has done a good job whenever he has started.
