Cameron Carter-Vickers has been Celtic’s standout defender this season. On loan from Tottenham Hotspur, the United States international has been nothing short of superb and one of the most consistent players that the club have right now.

In many ways, one knows what to expect from Carter-Vickers. He will most probably put in a solid performance on the day.

Starfelt has proven to be much more of an enigma though. His form has blown hot and cold. And at times he has looked amazing and at others, he has struggled to get even the basic things right.

Thus, if Celtic are to come out of the tie against Bodo/Glimt with a win, they will need Starfelt to be at the top of his game. Now, it remains to be seen what he does. It is safe to predict that he will be starting in midweek though.

Tom Rogic

Rogic has been absolutely brilliant for Celtic this season and looks like a player transformed under the management of Ange Postecoglou.

Now though, it looks like he has some serious competition for the first-team spot with Matt O’Riley, who arrived in January from MK Dons and has hardly put a foot wrong since then.

For all his brilliance, O’Riley is just 21 years of age though and as a result, Rogic’s experience could be very vital for Celtic in the middle of the park against Bodo/Glimt.

The Australian international has seen it all and done it all during the course of his career at Celtic and the fans will be hoping that he has another rabbit to pull out of his magic hat when the side meet the Norwegian champions in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

It promises to be two great games of football between a couple of excellent teams. Let’s see who comes out on top.
