Forrest has been at Celtic for a long time now and was one of the club’s most important players not too long ago. The picture has changed quite drastically over the past couple of seasons though.

Forrest has struggled with a series of injuries, which have seen him spend the majority of his time out on the sidelines.

On the other hand, the team has moved forward without him, especially this season. And as a result, he is no longer the automatic selection in the starting XI that he once was.

On top of that, whenever he has been on the pitch recently, he has not been particularly impressive and has struggled to make his mark to be very honest. As a result, things are not looking great for Forrest at Celtic and it will be very interesting to see what the future holds for him.

Mikey Johnston

There is no question about Johnston’s talent or potential. He was considered as the next big thing at Celtic when he first broke into the first-team and made a huge impression, with some stunning performances.

Many viewed him as someone who would become a regular in the starting XI for Celtic for years to come and even a few years back, he was not far away from solidifying his place in the team.

Things have gone south for Johnston since then though. He has suffered one injury after another, and it has without doubt had a tremendous effect on his performances.

While coming through the youth ranks and in his early Celtic career, Johnston was known for his ability to have an effect on games. In recent times though, he has appeared to have lost that ability and can no longer make his mark on games. That is disappointing to say the least.
