Celtic have had a brilliant time in recent transfer windows. The Hoops made twelve additions to their squad in the summer and a further five last month, and it is safe to say that things have worked out quite well at Parkhead for the majority of them. That is evident from the fact that the club have won the Scottish League Cup and are sitting at the top of the Premiership table right now, despite undergoing such a massive squad overhaul.

And there could be more good news to come in the future, with Real Madrid possibly handing Celtic a massive cash boost in the next summer transfer window.

The Spanish giants have been recently linked with a move for Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney, who has enjoyed a solid time in the Premier League ever since leaving Celtic in a record £25 million transfer deal in the summer of 2019.

Reports have suggested that the club had a 15 per cent sell-on clause included in the deal for any profit that Arsenal made in a future Tierney transfer. And now, it looks like that might potentially be on the horizon.

Real Madrid could hand Celtic massive cash boost with move for Tierney

Recent rumours have emerged that Real Madrid are interested in making a move for Tierney, which could potentially require them to shell out a transfer fee in the region of £50 million.

That is a huge transfer to say the least and it could see Celtic being handed a £3.75 million cash boost as well as a result of the sell-on clause that they are believed to have with Arsenal.

It remains to be seen how things turn out regarding this matter. But if the former Celtic star ended up at the Santiago Bernabeu, it would be a huge boost for Scottish football as well as the Hoops in more ways than one.
