Celtic have a Scottish Cup fifth round game coming up against Raith Rovers at Parkhead. Ange Postecoglou’s side have already won one trophy this season in the form of the Scottish League Cup but should be hungry for more, having finished the previous campaign without one. Thus, the match is very important for the Hoops to say the least.

But, at the same time, Celtic have a game coming up in the UEFA Europa Conference League against Bodo/Glimt. And as a result, Postecoglou might decide to name a very different looking starting XI against Raith Rovers in order to keep his side fresh for midweek.

Fortunately for Celtic, they now have enough options available to the point where they can rotate quite a bit while still naming a very strong line up.

We can see that in action in the game against Raith Rovers and there are some players who might end up getting a big chance to show that they must be part of Postecoglou’s plans this season.

Here are three players who could get a big chance to prove themselves in Celtic’s upcoming Scottish Cup game against Raith Rovers:

Not too long ago, Forrest was one of the most important players at the club. But the Celtic veteran has faced some tough times recently.

He has suffered a series of injuries over the past couple of seasons or so, which have kept him on the sidelines on a number of occasions. This has resulted in him losing his spot in Celtic’s starting XI and at this point of time, he is mostly being used as a substitute by Postecoglou.

He might end up getting the chance to start against Raith Rovers in midweek though, with Liel Abada deserving some rest. And thus, it might be a big chance for Forrest to show that he is still capable of making his mark on games.
