Not too long ago, Forrest was one of the most important players at Celtic but it is safe to say that things have changed since then. He has not been anywhere near his best for the past season-and-a-half.

That has been largely due to the fact that he has been dealing with one injury after another, which have resulted in the long-time Celtic star spending several spells out on the sidelines.

It goes without saying that that is far from ideal and it is hard to remember the last time when he got a good run of games for the club.

As a result, it should come as no surprise that he has fallen down the pecking order at Celtic, with Liel Abada very much the regular starter at right-wing at the moment.

If Forrest is to get more chances this season, he will need to step his game up significantly.

Anthony Ralston

Coming into the season, not many would have expected to see Ralston competing for a first-team spot at Celtic.

But he was handed a series of first-team opportunities at the start of the campaign when he was the only available right-back. It is safe to say that he grabbed the chance with both his hands and has been a part of the first-team picture for Celtic since then.

Over the past month or so though, it has looked like Josip Juranovic has slowly but surely moved ahead of him in the pecking order. And if Ralston is to get his regular place back anytime soon, he will have to produce some big performances.

With Juranovic out at the moment, Ralston is expected to get some consistent playing time over the next game or two. It will be very interesting to see how he does and it could have huge implications on the remainder of his season.
