Celtic are riding an incredible high at the moment, having defeated the Rangers 3-0 in midweek. It was not just a Glasgow Derby win for the Hoops but it also sent them to the top of the Scottish Premiership table after a long time. And while we might still be in early February, that result will surely come as a massive confidence boost for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Of course, there is still a long way to go in the league and the most important thing for them now will be to keep up these performances and results.

The away game against Motherwell can be a tricky one for Celtic. The Steelmen currently sit at fourth in the Premiership table and are going through a solid campaign till now.

Also, we have seen in the past that this Celtic side can end up underperforming immediately after a big result. The 0-0 draw against St Mirren in the game after the Hoops’ Scottish League Cup win against Hibernian is a great example of that. Postecoglou’s side will have to avoid a repeat of it though as they only have a one point lead and even a single bad result could see the Rangers overtake them once again.

Here’s how we think Ange Postecoglou will line Celtic up when they face Motherwell away at Fir Park, in a massive game in the Premiership title race:

One man who is almost sure to start for Celtic these days is Hart. The club struggled for a regular goalkeeper last season and he arrived last summer from Tottenham Hotspur and has made the position very much his own since then.

Not only has Hart put in some spectacular performances between the posts but he has also proven to be a leader, and is already a fan favourite at Parkhead.
