Celtic have strengthened their squad significantly in the January transfer window already, bringing in players like Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate, Yosuke Ideguchi and Johnny Kenny. Most fans would have been delighted with the prospect of four new signings this month but there have been suggestions that the club could be looking to sign more players.

Loan deals could be a good idea for Celtic at this point of time. After signing so many players over the past two transfer windows, one has to feel that they might not be in a position to splash out on more signings at the moment.

There are several players at top clubs in the Premier League who are looking for first-team minutes at the moment and could be available for loan.

Thus, there is no harm in Celtic trying to bring one or more in this January, in order to strengthen their title challenge further.

Amad arrived with a lot of expectations at Manchester United last season and he has put in some remarkable performances for their youth sides till now. But at the senior level, he has not played a lot.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Amad has made 9 appearances for Manchester United till now, scoring and assisting once each. It must be pointed out though that that goal came against AC Milan in the Europa League last season.

It is believed that Manchester United are ready to send him out on loan this month to a club where he could play regular football. And there is no doubt that Celtic could do with another right winger at this point of time.

If Celtic are able to bring in Amad, it would be considered as a major coup for them although it is believed that the Red Devils are prioritising a loan move to the Championship for the Ivory Coast international.
