Celtic might have made a stunning start to the January transfer window and already added significant depth to their squad but it is safe to say that they need to bring in more reinforcements if they are to put up a challenge against the Rangers for the Premiership title this season. Now, it remains to be seen how things turn out over the coming weeks.

One area that Ange Postecoglou could definitely do with more options in right now is on the wings, particularly on the right wing.

On the left wing, they have Jota while Daizen Maeda can also play there. Thus, it might very well prove to be their strongest position on the pitch moving forward. Mikey Johnston is another left winger at the club.

The picture is very different on the opposite flank though with James Forrest and Karamoko Dembele both struggling with injuries, leaving Liel Abada as the main option there.

Here are three wingers that Celtic should target in the January transfer window, with the Hoops needing to strengthen in the wide areas:

Wallace is a player that Celtic have been linked with for quite some time. He has been a standout performer for Millwall in the Championship.

Interestingly, his current deal runs out next summer though and as a result, it might be worth seeing if there is an opportunity to bring him in for a bargain transfer fee this month. Of course, if there is not, there is always the option of trying to bring him on a free transfer a few months later, if he does not end up extending his Millwall deal by then.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Wallace has scored 5 goals and provided 6 assists in 21 Championship appearances this season for Millwall. And he could be a solid addition for Celtic, if they are able to sign him.
