Celtic do not find themselves in a great position going into the Scottish League Cup final against Hibernian. They have several players out injured at the moment, including the likes of Kyogo, Jota, James Forrest, Giorgos Giakoumakis, Albian Ajeti and a few others. And while some of them could possibly return in the final, nothing has been confirmed before the game. Thankfully, they did not pick up any problems in the midweek game against Ross County.
Considering the circumstances, Celtic have done quite well this month, winning all five of their games in December till now. But it has looked like though that their form is slowly fading away as injuries are catching up to them.
Hibernian have not been in the greatest of form either and recently parted ways with Jack Ross as manager.
They do have a lot of quality in their squad though and have already proven that on their day, they can get the better of any team, with their win against the Rangers in the semi-final. Thus, this final could very possibly turn out to be one of the tightest in years, as Celtic look to end their trophy drought and Ange Postecoglou looks to win his first one in Scottish football.
Celtic Predicted XI vs Hibernian: Scottish League Cup final
Here’s how we think Ange Postecoglou will line Celtic up when they face Hibernian in the Scottish League Cup final, with several important players out:
Joe Hart

While there might be a lot of questions about the players who’ll start for Celtic all over the pitch, there is very little doubt about the man between the posts.
That is certainly going to be Joe Hart, who has been magnificent ever since coming in and made the first-team gloves his own.
His experience of playing in some of the biggest games in football through the course of his career as well as his leadership qualities could come in very handy on such a big occasion.
