Celtic have a series of injury problems heading into the Scottish League Cup final against Hibernian this Sunday at Hampden Park. Ange Postecoglou will surely be sweating about the fitness of several of his players, with the likes of Kyogo, Jota, James Forrest, Mikey Johnston and a few others out on the sidelines right now. Quite a few of them are believed to be in a race against time to get fit for the big game, while some have no chance of featuring.
On the other hand, Hibernian are not in the best shape either and it was just recently that they showed Jack Ross the exit door, following a disappointing run of form.
But by beating the Rangers in the semi-final, they showed that on their day, they can get the best of any team in Scotland. And going into the final as the underdogs might suit them pretty well.
Celtic do not have a lot of options available right now, which should be evident from the fact that Josip Juranovic, Anthony Ralston, Liam Scales and Adam Montgomery started against Ross County, despite all of them having featured mostly at full-back before that.
Celtic: 3 injured stars who could possibly feature in final vs Hibernian
Here are three injured Celtic stars who are in a race against time to get fit before the League Cup final against Hibernian and have not been ruled out yet:
Mikey Johnston

Mikey Johnston has had a number of injuries over the past few years which have seen him miss significant time on the pitch.
The Celtic star has been in and out of the team this season as well. And he ended up missing the game against Ross County in midweek.
There is some hope that he could be fit in time for the final vs Hibernian. He was seen training in a video released on Celtic’s official Twitter.
