Celtic have won all five of their games in December till now and must be commended for that, considering the number of injuries that the squad has at this point of time. Players like Kyogo, Jota, James Forrest and several others are out on the sidelines at the moment. And that is not ideal, going into one of the biggest games of their season, which is also their chance to end their trophy drought, having not won one in the previous campaign.

Thus, it is safe to say that Ange Postecoglou has his fair share of problems right now and it will be very interesting to see how his side copes with them in the next game.

Hibernian have not been in the best form either and recently even parted ways with Jack Ross as their manager.

But they showed in the semi-final with their win against the Rangers that on their day, they can beat any team. And going into the game as underdogs might suit them quite well.

Celtic’s 3 big problems before League Cup final vs Hibernian

Celtic have three big problems heading into their Scottish League Cup final against Hibernian, set to be played this Sunday:

Kyogo’s injury status

One of the biggest worries right now for Celtic is the injury status of Kyogo. There has been a lot of will he, won’t he, about his status for the League Cup final.

The Japanese star was injured earlier in the month in their game against Real Betis. And one can only hope that Kyogo manages to regain fitness in time to feature for the Hoops in the big game.

Without him, they just have not looked the same in the previous two games and with how tight the game against Hibernian is expected to be, Postecoglou’s side would receive a massive boost if Kyogo does return to the line up on Sunday.
