Ange Postecoglou finds himself in a tricky position heading into Celtic’s game against Ross County. On one hand, every Scottish Premiership game is important moving forward. But on the other hand, they have a Scottish League Cup final coming up next Sunday, against Hibernian. And with the number of injuries that the Hoops already have, they could be in serious trouble if they end up picking up any more.

Thus, Postecoglou has to decide between going for it completely or saving up a bit for Sunday, when a trophy will be up for grabs.

The best strategy at this point would probably be to go with the players who have been available for a while but not play those who are just returning from injuries. Giving them a bit of a run out in the second half, if the situation allows for it, could help to get them ready for the League Cup final.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of a line-up Postecoglou decides to go with on this occasion.

Here’s how we think Ange Postecoglou could line Celtic up when they take on Ross County, just days before the Scottish League Cup final:

Hart has done a superb job ever since coming in this summer from Tottenham Hotspur. He had not been a regular goalkeeper for a club for quite a few years at that point of time but that has not shown in his performances.

The Englishman has been great between the posts and nailed down his spot in Postecoglou’s starting XI but that is not the only thing he has brought to the table. He has established himself as a vocal leader in this Celtic side as well and right now, he is almost undroppable.
