Celtic have had their fair share of injuries this season with several players spending time on the sidelines at one point or another. And their worries were only multiplied in the game against Hearts. Ange Postecoglou’s side might have gotten a 1-0 win through Kyogo’s goal but they also came out of the match with three big injuries as Jota, Anthony Ralston and Stephen Welsh were all forced off the pitch.

It goes without saying that this is not good news for the team as they enter one of the busiest months of the footballing calendar, which could make or break their season.

With the squad depth not the greatest at Celtic in the first place, Postecoglou could be left scrambling for options in certain areas. The Hoops appear to have been handed one major injury boost though.

As reported by 67 Hail Hail, Postecoglou has confirmed that Greg Taylor will be back in the mix of things soon, as the Celtic manager said:

"“Greg Taylor, not for Sunday but definitely next week he’ll be back in the team which is good.”"

Taylor is set to make Celtic return in the near future

It is definitely a major boost for Celtic. With Ralston picking up an injury, Josip Juranovic is expected to move to right-back, after featuring at left-back all this while.

The Croatian international is expected to do a good job in his natural position. On the other hand, that could end up being a problem at left-back.

Postecoglou has players like Adam Montgomery, Boli Bolingoli and Liam Scales capable of playing there but none of them have quite managed to make the position their own in the chances that they have received this season.

On the other hand, Greg Taylor was the regular at left-back before picking up an injury which has kept him out for months and at one point, it was believed that he might be out for the rest of the year but fortunately, it appears that he is going to make his return sooner than that.
