Jota has been magnificent since arriving at Celtic in the summer and looks like a superstar in the making. He is only on a season-long loan from Benfica at the moment but the Hoops do have an option to make the move permanent for a transfer fee believed to be around £6.5 million and there are already calls from fans to make it happen.

It remains to be seen what happens regarding that, but it is safe to say that on current form, Celtic must do everything that they can to keep Jota at the club on a long-term basis.

He has already become one of the most important players in Ange Postecoglou’s starting XI and might very well be the most in-form player in all of Scotland right now.

As a result, it is hard to believe that this is the first time that he is getting a solid run of regular first team football anywhere in his career, having not been able to get a place in the Benfica playing XI on a consistent basis and then not having a great loan spell at Real Valladolid.

Joe Hart

While Celtic might have conceded three goals against Bayer Leverkusen away in Germany, there is no denying the fact that Hart was absolutely superb on the night, turning back the clock on several occasions and pulling off some big saves.

Hart arrived in the summer and has quickly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for Celtic as well as a leader in this team. And it is safe to say that he is already a fan favourite.

It is easy to forget though that when Hart initially arrived in the summer, it was not a very popular move and many fans questioned whether he could still get it done at the top level, having not been a starter for a club for a good few years. It is safe to say that he can and then some.
