Jota

Another player who has been a standout for Celtic this season is Jota. The Portuguese winger is getting his first taste of regular first-team football after struggling to break into the Benfica senior team and then at Real Valladolid on loan, and he seems to be thriving.
Jota has been brilliant for Celtic till now and according to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 6 goals and provided 6 assists in 15 appearances across all competitions for the club this season.
Those are brilliant stats for a winger and it is not just goals and assists that Jota is bringing to the table. His overall play has been sensational as well.
He is the type of player who can make things happen out of nothing. And thus, if Celtic are to get something out of the away game against Bayer Leverkusen, they might very well need Jota to pull a rabbit out of the magic hat on that day.
Thankfully, he seems to be very capable of doing that. Now, it remains to be seen what happens.
Cameron Carter-Vickers
It is clear that Celtic will need their players to perform in the attacking third of the pitch. But the defence is expected to be equally important.
Since Carl Starfelt suffered an injury some weeks earlier, Cameron Carter-Vickers has had to step up to the plate. And he is certainly doing a good job at the moment although the Swedish defender returning is the boost that Celtic fans will be looking for as soon as possible.
If that does not end up happening when they face Bayer Leverkusen, then there will be a lot of pressure on the shoulders of the Tottenham Hotspur loanee.
If Celtic are to succeed in getting a result in this game, they will need to stop the German side from finding the back of their net.
