Ange Postecoglou has made a massive impression since becoming the Celtic manager. After a shaky start, it appears that he has steadied the ship and they now look very much like the team in form in Scotland. And on top of that, it does feel like the Hoops are heading towards one of the most exciting January transfer windows in their recent history, while the manager has a big behind the scenes plan as well.

After finishing 25 points behind the Rangers in the Premiership last season, it was clear that Celtic needed to make a lot of changes.

And they have already made quite a few of them, bringing in a new manager as well as several new players. But there is work still needed to be done in certain areas.

It does look like though that the club recognise that and have plans to make these changes soon. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, Postecoglou said regarding the matter:

"“There’s no doubt going into January we still have some work to do with the playing roster, particular in terms of depth in certain areas.“In terms of the structure around here, we still need some work around our recruiting and our scouting department. That will be the next focus for me to make sure we get the right people in that area.“That’s probably the one area where football is changing rapidly – the information that is out there and how you get that information and how you use that information, particularly around scouting.“That’s the next step for me in terms of January.”"

Postecoglou has confirmed Celtic’s behind the scenes plan

It is safe to say that football is changing very quickly. As technology develops at a rapid pace, its effect is being felt on the game of football as well. It is easy to notice the difference in the game from say just ten years ago.

Thus, as a club, if Celtic are to keep moving forward, they will need to embrace these changes and adapt to the situation. That is the only way that they can improve both on-and-off the pitch.

Postecoglou does seem to be the kind of manager who has his eyes on things like this as well and that is a brilliant thing to see.

On the pitch, the fans have had very little to complain about in recent times. Over the last eight games across all competitions, Celtic have won seven and drawn one, and appear to be building up some serious momentum now.
