Despite not having the deepest squad, it must be said that Celtic have done quite well this season till now. And it is safe to say that Ange Postecoglou has done tremendously with the cards that he was dealt when he arrived at the club in the summer. But even then, there are some players who have not featured a lot and should get more playing time.

Celtic are expected to strengthen their squad in the upcoming January transfer window. But there are a few players in their squad already who can be like completely new signings.

It could be even more important to give some of these players more chances as we enter a hectic run of games for Celtic.

Now, it remains to be seen how things turn out for Postecoglou’s side and some of these players, who have not played much football this season.

The left-back situation has not been ideal for Celtic for years now. Ever since Kieran Tierney left the club to join Arsenal in the summer of 2019, they have not been able to replace the Scottish star in their starting XI.

At the moment, they have Josip Juranovic playing there, who is a Croatian international and a natural right-back, who was not known for playing at left-back before arriving at Parkhead. And while he has done a decent job till now, the Hoops could certainly do with a natural there.

Boli Bolingoli could possibly be that solution for the club. While he has not played much this season, he has looked decent whenever he has. And he should definitely get more chances to prove himself in Postecoglou’s starting XI.
