Charlie Adam has made surprising Celtic admission

Things are certainly starting to look up for Celtic. Ange Postecoglou’s side find themselves in a good position right now. They have won seven of their previous eight games across all competitions, while getting a draw in the other one. And with the Rangers finding themselves without a manager at the moment, the Hoops have a terrific chance to not only cut down the gap in the Premiership table but also take a lead of their own.

One of the biggest reasons behind their recent run of form has been the form of their front three. The trio of Kyogo, Jota and Liel Abada have been incredible and it is hard to believe that all three of them arrived in the summer.

Charlie Adam got a first-hand glimpse of how good Celtic can be. Both Kyogo and Jota scored braces as the Hoops got a 4-2 away win against Dundee FC right before the international break.

And even he has admitted that Celtic are going to cause teams all sorts of problems. Speaking on The PLZ Football Show and as reported by Celts Are Here, Adam said:

"“They were good. Front three were excellent. They’re gonna cause teams all sorts of problems.“And you know in that wide area they’ve got pace and they’ve got someone up front who’s movement is ridiculous.“It doesn’t matter if he’s playing against someone who is six foot five, three feet two, it just doesn’t matter.“His movement is just unbelievable and he’s a very, very good player.“And he’s going to cause a lot problems but he’s playing for a big club they’re good players.“We never really laid a glove on them.”"

Celtic are starting to pick up some serious momentum now

It is safe to admit that Celtic did not make a great start to the season and struggled early on. But now, slowly but surely, this is starting to look like a very good team and they are picking up some serious momentum right now.

Of course, they do not have the deepest squad and that will always be a massive worry until they make the necessary additions to their squad. We have already seen them struggle earlier in the season when both Kyogo and Callum McGregor were out injured at the same time.

Hopefully the Hoops will make some solid additions in the January transfer window which will put them in a good spot to make a run at the Scottish Premiership title in the second half of the campaign.
