Things might be looking up for Celtic right now but they have their fair share of problems as well. Ange Postecoglou’s side have won seven of their previous eight games across all competitions while drawing the other one, yet they still find themselves four points behind the Rangers, who have not looked great this season, in the Premiership table.

But, with the majority of the season still to be played and Celtic looking like the team in form, it is very possible for them to make a run for the title this season.

In fact, if they make the right additions in the January transfer window, it would be a surprise if they don’t end up challenging for the Premiership title this season.

There are certainly problems that Postecoglou will need to solve though if the Hoops are to return to the top of Scottish football once again.

Here are three problems that Postecoglou needs to solve in order to guide Celtic towards the Scottish Premiership title:

The back up goalscorer

It is safe to say that Kyogo has been nothing short of incredible ever since arriving at Celtic over the summer. But beyond him, they do not appear to have a reliable goalscorer at striker at the moment.

Albian Ajeti got a run in the team earlier in the season but could not quite make his mark. On the other hand, Giorgos Giakoumakis appears to be second in the striker pecking order right now, but other than a few promising cameos, he has not done a lot since arriving at Celtic in the summer.

We have already seen the Hoops struggle in Kyogo’s absence at one point this season. And this is an area that Postecoglou needs to take care of as soon as possible.
