Celtic have had their fair share of injury problems in recent times. And it has resulted in Ange Postecoglou having a limited set of players to pick his team from. Things have looked up in front in recent times though and it looks like three players could make their returns this month.

Of course, it must be said that Celtic do not have the deepest squad at this point of time in the first place and as a result, these injuries have had an even bigger impact than they might have had at a different point of time.

Thus, it goes without saying that any return to fitness has the potential to be a huge boost for Postecoglou’s side moving forward.

And the manager must definitely be looking forward to hopefully having most of his first-team squad available in the not too distant future.

Many believe Christopher Jullien to be the most talented defender at Celtic right now. But the Frenchman has not played a single minute of football this year.

And that has been because of a long-term injury that he suffered in December of 2020. It was initially believed that he would out of action for around four months but it is safe to say that it has been much longer than that by now.

As a result, Jullien has the potential to be like a completely new signing for Postecoglou, when he does ultimately make his return to the pitch. It will be very interesting to see how he performs though considering the fact that he has not kicked a ball for almost a year now.
