Celtic are now starting to build up some serious momentum. Goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota and Liel Abada handed Ange Postecoglou’s side a brilliant 3-2 away win against Ferencvaros in the Europa League. As a result, their chances of qualifying to the knockout phase of the competition are still very much alive.

And even if they don’t, they will have a chance in the Europa Conference League. Thus, the win extended Celtic’s European season, one way or the other.

Celtic are on a good run of form at the moment, having won six of their previous seven games across all competitions. But now, the focus must turn towards what’s coming next.

It is clear that Postecoglou is not a man to celebrate for long and already has his eyes set on the upcoming game against Dundee FC in the Scottish Premiership. Jota’s recent comments are just proof of the manager’s brilliant attitude.

Jota reveals what Postecoglou said after Celtic win vs Ferencvaros

As reported by Celtic’s official website, Jota said after the match against Ferencvaros:

"“The coach just said a funny thing. He said, guys just enjoy the next five minutes, because on Sunday we have to go the battle again. So the five minutes have past, now it’s recovery and let’s go to the next one.”"

After the 0-0 draw against Livingston at the weekend and the recent injuries to Tom Rogic and Carl Starfelt, there were questions about whether Celtic’s momentum could go off the tracks once again.

The win against Ferencvaros must have been a huge boost for this team though. It was a good performance and while they must have been disappointed at conceding the two goals and making it tighter than it should have been, ultimately the three points is what matters most and they did enough to get them.

Celtic will return to Scottish Premiership action next as they take on Dundee FC. And after dropping a couple of points last weekend, they will know that they need a win this time around in order to keep up the pressure on the Rangers at the top of the table.
