Ferencvaros player names Celtic’s biggest strength

Celtic will be going into the game against Ferencvaros with momentum on their side. Not only did the Hoops win the reserve fixture but they also are on a good run at the moment, having won five and drawn one of their previous six games across all competitions. An away game in Europe is always expected to be tough though and a lot will depend on this match.

If Celtic end up winning, it will open up their Europa League group once again and hand a massive boost to their hopes of making it to the knockout phase of the competition.

A defeat or even a draw will be a massive blow though and would make it very difficult to make it very difficult for Ange Postecoglou’s side to progress from the group.

Amid all this, Ferencvaros player Myrto Uzuni, has made a brilliant claim about Celtic. As reported by Nemzeti Sport, the Albanian winger said:

"“Yet I saw the biggest difference in the passing of the ball, they passed so fast that it was often difficult to follow. At one point the ball was on the right, a few moments later they were already breaking forward on the left.”"

It is safe to say that fast paced, possession based football is what Postecoglou wants his sides to play and this claim would definitely please the manager.

Of course, they have not been able to play that kind of football throughout the season, with injuries to important players playing a big part in that. But when they have had their best players available, Celtic have certainly shown terrific potential and fans would be expected by what is to come in the future, when the squad has more depth and more experience of playing Postecoglou’s style of football.

For now though, the focus must be on the here and now. Celtic have two very important games to play before the international break, against Ferencvaros and Dundee FC, and should be looking for positive results in both those games.
