It is safe to say that Joe Hart has made the first-team gloves his own since arriving at Celtic in the summer. When the club brought him in from Tottenham Hotspur, many had questioned whether he was the right signing for the Hoops. He has proven many critics wrong with his performances over the past few months.

At the end of the day, Hart is 34 years of age and had not been a first-team regular for a few years prior to joining Celtic. Thus, the doubts that were raised were natural considering the circumstances.

He has come in and made his mark at Celtic though. He has brought stability between the posts and pulled off some big saves when the situation has called for it. He has also established himself as one of the leaders in this team, which they needed following the departure of Scott Brown over the summer.

And he has become a fan favourite of the Celtic fans. On the other hand, it looks like Hart has been blown away by the supporters as well.

Hart sends beautiful message to Celtic fans after win against Hibernian

Hart has made no secret of his affection for the Celtic fans in the past and sent a beautiful message to them on social media after the club’s win against Hibernian. The Celtic goalkeeper wrote on his Instagram:

"First half was electric… second half we had to show another side to our play. Big win … huge support again 💪 it makes the difference 💚🤍 #coybig"

It is safe to say that Hart has come in and made a huge difference in this team himself. Last season, we saw that Celtic did not have a regular first-choice goalkeeper. Scott Bain, Vasilis Barkas and Conor Hazard all got runs with the first-team gloves but none of them were able to nail down their place in the team.

That has definitely changed with Hart. He has come in and immediately established himself as the regular between the posts. And we have seen the club improve defensively in his presence.
