It was during Postecoglou’s time as manager that Yokohama F. Marinos signed Daizen Maeda. And it is safe to say that it has proven to be a tremendous signing for the J1 League side.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Maeda has scored 18 goals and provided 3 assists in 31 J1 League appears so far this season. He is also the leading goalscorer in the competition right now.

It is not difficult to see why the Hoops are being linked with the player and in fact, he could turn out to be a great signing for the club if they can pull it off.
