Celtic are on a bit of a good run of form at the moment, having won their previous two games away from home. Thus, it is safe to say that things are looking up for Ange Postecoglou’s side at the moment although it will be very important to build on these positive results and string together a few wins.

For months, Celtic had not won a single game away from home in the Scottish Premiership. Now though, they have won back-to-back against Aberdeen and Motherwell respectively, which should hand them a much needed confidence booster.

There is some good news when it comes to their loan players as well. Leigh Griffiths scored his first goal this season while on loan with Dundee FC, in a 2-1 win against Aberdeen.

This could turn out to be a huge goal for the club. They are now three points off the bottom of the table and just three points behind 8th placed St Johnstone. This just goes on to show how tight things are at the moment in the Scottish Premiership.

At the start of the campaign, it was believed that Griffiths could have a big role to play in Postecoglou’s Celtic team and he had even signed a contract extension. But it is safe to say that things did not quite work out that way.

As a result, he now finds himself away on loan with Dundee FC and should be eager to prove his quality.

Still just 31 years of age, there is no doubt that Griffiths could still have a lot of football left in the tank if he can find some consistent form and fitness. It remains to be seen what the future holds for him at Celtic with his current deal set to run out at the end of this season. And unless he has a spectacular season on loan, it does feel like he could end up departing Parkhead at the end of the campaign on a permanent basis.
