Kyogo Furuhashi might have been at Celtic only for a few months till now, having arrived earlier in the summer from Vissel Kobe but he has already established himself as one of the most important members of Ange Postecoglou’s squad. It is also arguable that he has been the club’s best player this season.

We saw this Celtic side struggle badly in his absence recently after he had picked up an injury while on international duty. Without him in the team, they did not look nearly as good going forward as they missed the Japanese star’s incredible movement and eye for goal.

Thus, the Celtic fans will be hoping that he can remain fit for the rest of the season as Kyogo is expected to play a major part in any potential success that this team enjoys during the campaign. As a result, his latest comments are brilliant news for the Hoops.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Kyogo said regarding his injury situation:

"“There is no problem at all now with my knee.“And for that, I must thank the people at my club for their cooperation and support so that I have been able to return quickly. I am grateful for them.”"

The Celtic star appears to be fully fit once again

We have already seen Kyogo make his return to the Celtic first-team and make an impact. He opened the scoring against Aberdeen in the Hoops’ recent 2-1 win, which also ended their long streak of not winning away from home.

Out of the twelve players that the club brought in this summer, it is safe to say that Kyogo has made the biggest impact till now.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 8 goals and provided an assist in 11 appearances for Celtic across all competitions. Those are brilliant numbers, especially for someone playing his first season in Europe.

He has also come in and quickly established himself as a fan favourite at Parkhead. As a result, the club’s supporters will be hoping that he keeps on improving and performing like this through the course of the season.
