When it had first emerged that Howe was not going to become their manager, it was seen as a massive blow for the Hoops. But since then, it must be said that things have turned out quite well for the club.

They certainly seem on the right path at the moment. While the results can improve further, they have been playing some excellent football and could end up challenging for the Premiership title if they can continue to improve through the course of the season.
