It was not the perfect performance from Celtic but it was certainly a positive one. After losing four of their last five games including pre-season, the Hoops managed to come out with a 4-2 away win against FK Jablonec in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie.

Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada, James Forrest and Ryan Christie got the goals in what was the club’s first competitive win under the management of Ange Postecoglou and the first of the season as well.

There is a lot to be happy about heading out of this game. But there are areas that Postecoglou’s side need to work on as well.

Hopefully, this will give the team a lot of confidence moving forward and they can use this result as a springboard to more victories.

Here are 3 things we learned from Celtic’s 4-2 away win over FK Jablonec, the first under the management of Postecoglou:

Liel Abada could score a lot of goals this season

From his first few performances since joining the club, it certainly does look like Abada has a real eye for goal and brilliant instincts in the box.

He scored on his debut for the club against FC Midtjylland and then had the ball in the back of the net against Hearts as well, only for it to be ruled offside in the build up to the goal. And he scored against FK Jablonec as well.

At 19 years of age, he has already established himself in the Celtic first-team. It is safe to say that he is a very exciting prospect. And if he can continue to perform like this, he will score a lot of goals this season because there will be chances to do so. He just needs to take them.
