Celtic have a Shane Duffy worry on their hands as it has been confirmed that there have been multiple positive tests in the Republic of Ireland camp.

It is safe to say that this international break has been a nightmare for clubs around the world. Generally, these games bring with them the fear that players can get injured. But now there is the extra worry of the coronavirus. Celtic will know this better than most.

Odsonne Edouard tested positive after reporting for French under-21 duty at Clarefontaine. And Ryan Christie has been ordered to stay in isolation for 14 days after it was determined that he had come in close contact with Stuart Armstrong, who tested positive for the virus on while duty for the Scottish national team.

As a result, anything right now is enough to leave people sweating at Celtic. With the Glasgow Derby coming up, they cannot afford to miss any more players. As a result, the news that there has been another positive test among the backroom staff of the Republic of Ireland national team will be a major cause of worry for Celtic. Shane Duffy just captained the team against Slovakia in a EURO qualifier.

This is the second member of their camp who has tested positive. The first one had come a couple of days earlier when the other two had returned negative results. But now, another one of them has turned out to be positive as reported by RTE.

At this point of time, we can only hope that no other player tests positive during this break.
