Celtic fans should be excited by the latest transfer update coming from Neil Lennon as the club get ready to challenge for 10IAR.

Celtic have pulled off some impressive deals in the current transfer window. They managed to sign Vasilis Barkas, Albian Ajeti and David Turnbull for a combined £12 million while also managing to keep Mohamed Elyounoussi and bring in Shane Duffy on season-long loan deals. The Hoops might not have yet shut shop though as a few more signings are yet expected before the market slams shut.

With not a lot of time left, it is expected to be difficult to get deals over the line in time but Neil Lennon is hopeful that the board will get it done. Speaking before Celtic’s Europa League qualifying play-off game against FK Sarajevo which they ended up winning 1-0, securing their place in the group stage of the competition.

As reported by the Herald Scotland, the Celtic manager said:

"“It will go to the wire I’d imagine. We’ll probably see a lot of movement over the weekend."

It is great to hear that the club are actively trying to make things happen. Lennon had some positive news regarding exits as well.

For the entirety of the window there have been fears that the likes of Odsonne Edouard, Olivier Ntcham and Kristoffer Ajer could end up leaving. There does not appear to be any chance of that happening though either:

"“I wouldn’t have thought [we would have to sell]. We want to keep the squad and we’ve been pretty strong on that.“We don’t want anyone to leave. If that means we have to dig our heels in, then so be it. But I think we’re quite strong on that.”"

Now the question is who the Hoops manage to sign in the remaining few days. Rumours have been growing strong around the possibility of Ryan Sessegnon joining the Hoops on a season-long loan. And that would be a dream move to be honest. The English wonderkid would probably tear the Scottish league and signing could seal the 10IAR in Celtic’s favour.
