Here’s how Celtic will line up as they take on Hibernian at home, knowing that anything less than a win will see their advantage slip.
Celtic received a major boost last week when Rangers drew 2-2 away at Hibernian to hand the Hoops an advantage in the title race. While Steven Gerrard’s side still remain at the top of the table, they have just four points more having played two extra games. Thus, a win in their remaining two games in hand will see Neil Lennon’s men jump to the top of the Premiership.
That is easier said than done though as the Hoops face a tricky contest against Hibernian at home. Hibs managed to hold Rangers to a draw last week and will be looking to inflict damage to Celtic this time around. They are a side in form and Neil Lennon’s team cannot make the mistake of taking them lightly.
Here’s how the side will line up on Sunday:
Vasilis Barkas
Greg Taylor
Shane Duffy
Nir Bitton
Kris Ajer
Jeremie Frimpong
Callum McGregor
Scott Brown
Ryan Christie
Mohamed Elyounoussi
Albian Ajeti
The big news is that Neil Lennon has decided to drop Odsonne Edouard to the bench after the Frenchman has looked off-colour for the last few games.
Celtic have not been in great form as of late but a win in this game could see them turn it around. The two sides have already met once in pre-season when the Hoops walked out with a comfortable 3-1 win. This time around, things are expected to be much tougher though and the Bhoys must be ready for a tough challenge.
This side has quality in abudance though and should be able to deal with the Hibs if they play to the best of their abilities.
