Rangers handed a massive advantage to Celtic in their quest for 10IAR by drawing 2-2 against Hibernian. And it is safe to say their fans were not happy.
Rangers streak of not letting in a goal in the the league this season has ended and reality has struck their fans that they are in danger of falling behind Celtic already, as they just have a one point lead at the moment despite having played a game more.
The general consensus has been that Celtic have struggled to get off the blocks at the start of this season while the Rangers have been flying. And while there is no denying the fact that Neil Lennon’s side have left a lot to be desired, one has to remember that Steven Gerrard’s team have a habit of crumbling under the pressure.
Of course, this is known to their fans as well. And the wash the dirty laundry in public whenever the team delivers a negative result.
Thats it. That seals the deal. Im no longer a Rangers fan. I’ve been a Rangers fan since 1989 and a season ticket holder since 1990. I will no longer watch on TV or renew my season tickets. I’m taking my fanhood to Chelsea where they actually know how to run a football team.

Steven Gerrard of course will call out for new signings, some thing that you suspect won’t come unless the club manage to find a buyer for Alfredo Morelos. It does seem like both the manager and the player want to part ways, but the Rangers have found a hard time getting someone to pay the price they are looking for the controversial Colombian.
Now, this is not to say that Celtic do not have their problems at the moment. Defence looks like a weakness at the moment although one suspects that the return of Christopher Jullien could help with that. The attack has also come out of the blocks slow but it does look like they are finding their touch as well.
All in all, it looks like Rangers have already peaked while Celtic have struggled so far. And even then it is Celtic who might end up ahead over the course of this period. Remarkable but not shocking.
