Celtic have officially accepted a bid for the fan favourite as his Parkhead exit seems to be only a matter of time.

Celtic fans have been demanding for the club to bring in more players through the course of the transfer window. After all, they have struggled to hit form at the start of this season and have found it hard to find the back of the net as well as cut the mistakes in defence.

As a result, they are already out of UEFA Champions League qualifiers, having lost to Ferencvaros at home in the second round in a disastrous result. So much so that Neil Lennon even had a outburst against his want away stars in public.

Unfortunately, the most of the club’s transfer business in this season has involved letting go of players. While players like Vasilis Barkas, David Turnbull and Albian Ajeti have come in, a number of others have gone out to accommodate them. And it looks like the exits will continue if the club are to bring in any more new players.

One of those who looks set to leave is longtime midfielder Tom Rogic. Injuries have meant that he has not been a part of first-team plans for quite a while now. And it looks like the time has come to move on.

The Australian has attracted interest from an unnamed Qatari side and Neil Lennon confirmed that the club have accepted a bid for him as reported by Glasgow Live:

"“Negotiations are ongoing with Tom. We have accepted a bid.”"

Tom Rogic on top of his game is a terrific player. But unfortunately he has not been at his best for quite some time now. Thus, it might be best for both parties if the move takes place, especially with David Turnbull now at Celtic as well.
