Celtic fans are in an uproar after one of the most talented player on the club has been linked and rumoured with a move away from the club.

Celtic are a selling club and we have seen some of that this summer already. Hoops supporters are used to seeing top players leave the club on massive fees such as Kieran Tierney last summer and Moussa Dembele before that.

Now, there are plenty of rumours swirling about that Celtic star Olivier Ntcham could be on his way out the door as well. Clubs such as West Ham and Everton have reportedly been interested and if the club receives an offer too good to be true they very well may pull the trigger.

For the Frenchman to see any type of playing time he would have to usurp captain Scott Brown or Ryan Christie. The latter seems to have his place cemented in the first team Brown however is 34-years old, but he controls the pace of the match unlike anyone else can.

As such, Ntcham could be on his way out. This would be a huge blow to the club considering Ntcham is an incredibly quality player that can shred defences easily. The Frenchman has also come through for the club in some of the biggest moments like his winning goal against Lazio in the Europa League Group Stage last season.

Celtic fans have already taken to social media to proclaim their thoughts on the possible exit:

Selling Ntcham could greatly affect the club’s chances of achieving 10IAR. If something were to happen to Christie or Brown, such as an injury knock, then the quality of cover would be called into question. By keeping Ntcham around no one would have to worry, plus the crammed schedule of this season could lend to more opportunities for the midfielder.

The club needs to keep Ntcham. End of story.
