Celtic receive major boost in bid to get rid of Bolingoli

Celtic have received a major boost as they look to get rid of Boli Bolingoli, after he put the club in trouble by traveling to Spain in secret.
Celtic have endured a nightmare week thanks to the actions of Boli Bolingoli. The problematic leftback took a day trip to Spain last week without telling anyone after Neil Lennon gave the squad two days off. Considering the cases are on the rise in Spain again, you can understand the issue.
With the club having to postpone two matches already and more potential punishments from the SFA coming down the pipeline, there is an understandable fury towards Bolingoli. To make matters worse, it seems the leftback has no remorse for his actions if reports in The Celtic Star are to be believed. At the very least he has no understanding of what he did wrong.
Regardless, one thing is clear: it is time for the club to move on from Bolingoli. One thought that comes to mind is just how tough it would be to move the £3 million player after his latest stunt. While that may be true, there is one club who is willing to take that chance in French-side Amiens SC.
According to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph, Amiens is looking to get the player on a one-year loan with the option for a permanent move at the end of the spell for £2.3 million. While it is lower than what the club originally paid for the player, it is far better than having him languish on the bench while paying for his wages.
This is also a much better scenario than simply ripping his contract up and eating the wages. Regardless, this seems to be the best case scenario. The club is able to offload the problem by getting him out of sight and out of mind. Meanwhile, it will recoup some of their financial investment on the Belgian.
