Celtic have been dealt a blow as another one of their promising youngsters has decided to leave Parkhead for the European giants.

Celtic fans will be hoping that the club recruit some players heading into the next season with 10-in-a-row on the row on the line. Yes, they have been a trophy-winning machine for several years but that does not mean that they do not have any holes in the squad. Goalkeeper and left-back are two positions that spring to mind immediately.

The early part of the club’s recent transfer business has involved letting go of players with no future at Parkhead. And the fans will agree with most of the players who have been allowed to leave the club. In the midst of all this though, a number of promising youngsters have also deserted Celtic which should be a massive cause for concern.

As reported by The Secret Scout, Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to bring highly-rated Celtic youngster Barry Hepburn to Germany. This news has been shimmering for sometime and now it finally appears that the move is finally set to go through. The German giants are no strangers to raiding Celtic for youngsters though, having already lured away Liam Morrison last summer after he rejected a professional contract with the Hoops to sign with the Bundesliga champions.

This rate of losing talent should be very alarming for the club. The fact that Bayern Munich is signing them means that they are the cream of the crop and not players we will rather let go. As a result, the Hoops need to find a way to convince these players that they have a better chance of reaching the top with Celtic instead of leaving before ever making it to the first-team.
