Joe Hart has been linked with a move to Celtic recently and the Premier League appeared to drop a hint pointing towards a Parkhead move.

Celtic fans were hit with a bombshell earlier this month when news broke out that the club had managed to agree a deal with Southampton but Fraser Forster himself had blocked a move to Parkhead as he looks to reestablish himself in the Southampton side. The general consensus had been that things would have been the other way round.

As a result, the club have been forced to look towards other options heading into the season with 10IAR on the line. And one of the names that has cropped up numerous occasions is that of former Premier League winner and England number 1, Joe Hart.

Hart decided to feed fuel to the fire by hinting that his future had been sorted and keen eyed Celtic fans were not set to miss it. Of course, those who live in Glasgow know the weather very well.

Of course, there were many who think that the zebra emoji points toward a Newcastle move but considering the fact that there have been virtually no rumours linking him to a move to The Magpies, that is just over analysing.

Reports linking the club to Hart have been met with some resistance from the fans as the Englishman has not had a great time in the last few years. Once arguably the best keeper in the world, he lost his place in the Manchester City team after the arrival of Pep Guardiola as manager and has never been the same since.

One cannot help but feel though that he will be back to his best under a manager who actually believes in him. And no Celtic fan will question goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods’ ability to get the best out of the players. We saw a great example of it with Forster last season, who had spent the last few seasons rotting on the Southampton bench.
